A place is held when the deposit reaches us and we have confirmed it in writing. Places are not held on a verbal promise, and we do not oversubscribe intakes on the assumption that some people will drop out.
A course runs at six enrolments. Below that we tell you at least fourteen days ahead and refund in full, including deposits, or hold your fee at your choice. If a single session is lost to illness it is rescheduled within the term, not dropped.
Interest free, no charge for choosing them. A missed payment gets a reminder and fourteen days; access is only suspended after that, and it is restored the moment the payment arrives with nothing added. Nobody has ever been removed from a course over money without being asked first whether a longer plan would help.
Sessions are recorded, so missing one is not a problem. Missing more than three of eight on Foundations, or four of ten on Reading for Others, means the practice half has been missed too often for the course to have worked, and we will offer a transfer rather than a certificate.
The twelve months may be extended once by up to six months for illness, bereavement or caring responsibilities, at no cost. Referred components carry one free resit. Withdrawal after month six carries no refund, but any completed components remain valid for two years should you return.
Students agree to the code of practice before reading for anyone outside the course. Breaching the clause on cultivating dependence — telling a sitter they are cursed and selling the remedy, or anything of that shape — ends an enrolment without refund. It is the only conduct rule we have ever enforced.
Certificates are issued by this school and record what is described on the diploma page. They confer no licence and no registration. Replacement copies are free.
Complain to the studio first — the process is on the contact page. Beyond that you retain every right to take a consumer dispute to court, and nothing in these terms attempts to limit that.
